Munsey, Frank Andrew
(21 ago. 1854, Mercer, Maine, EE.UU.–22 dic. 1925, Ciudad de Nueva York, N.Y.).

Editor de periódicos y revistas estadounidense. Dirigió una oficina de telégrafos antes de trasladarse a la Ciudad de Nueva York, donde fundó Golden Argosy (1882), nombre que después cambió a Argosy Magazine, y Munsey's Magazine (1889), la primera revista ilustrada barata y de circulación general de EE.UU. Compró varios periódicos en Baltimore y Nueva York, algunos de los cuales desaparecieron tras rentables fusiones. Veía sus publicaciones sólo como empresas generadoras de dinero y mantuvo políticas editoriales impersonales. Dejó gran parte de su fortuna al Museo Metropolitano de Arte de la Ciudad de Nueva York.
